we started bright and early

today was no different

of course we had tons of food
including homemade ice cream!
next weekend is relay for life
and we've got lots to do!

well i spent today building a sidewalk
and flower bed
thanks to beth
for helping
i need to do some touch-ups
and get some mulch
and of course more flowers

organizing the shed
i knew i had some treasures
that i forgot about
one was a bag of old clothespins
of grandma leister's

well we had our first trip of the season to the drive-ins
we filled the tahoe and went to see shrek 3
(marilyn, melissa, mom, briley, marina and i)
although it was cold,
the movie was great
and i hope to see it again
soon

well the rain held back
until this afternoon
we safaried with just a few drops
marina was up at 545 this morning ready to go
she ended up sleeping on the way down
and the way back

today was briley's grade 2 field trip to the forum, state museum and capital
all the kids wore red fermanagh tshirts
they looked wonderful
and they were easy to spot

saturday was our first trip of the season to knoebels grove
we packed the tahoe
melissa
marina
mom
marilyn
briley
and
myself
the girls had a blast
melissa road the cosmatron twice - with marina
crazy girls!
melissa, marina and briley drug me on the flume
luckily i did not wet because i used marina as a shield!

this week should be fantastically fun
we've got 2 field trips!
