hmmm...what would you look like at 100?
That's what Marina was to do for the 100th day of school. She wasn't going to participate, but at the last minute and with help from Mam-maw decided to give it a try. Here's what she had - a shawl, a hat, glasses, jewelry, a cane and powdered hair. It must have been a fantastic day because she was thrilled!

I know I have said we are pet-free...but after this fall we added a goldfish to our family. It started out at Doyle and Stacie's. I was hoping the lovely fish would not make it over to our house. It did...Marina named it Nemo. It's even gotten a new home once. Sue happened to have a fish tank set in the garage. Nemo was moved from a little bowl to a nice tank - and survived.

Farm Show Fun!
It was to be so cold Friday that school was closed Thursday afternoon. The girls were thrilled. We left for the Farm Show after the sun came up and the temperature warmed up to 14 degrees. We had a short wait in the cold for the shuttle but the girls were not bothered. We hit the food first, followed by the tractors, animals and tractor square dancing. Not only was it their first trip to the Farm Show but it was Pappy's as well. Can't wait until next year!
