sew, i've been sewing...

it's been fun
over the last week or so i've created
3 aprons
2 pillowcases
2 tote bags
2 dish towels
and
1 checkbook cover (which was a pita - lol)

2 weeks later...

gosh i've not updated in 2 weeks
we've been busy
hershey park
goodwill
soccer
yard sale
it's been crazy
the yard sale was a bit wet on friday
but saturday was dry
overall sales were ok
just glad to get rid of stuff
more to come from the attic
soon!

tiny tidbits

brought another load over from the treasure attic
crazy stuff
ymca posters from 1918
a red wooden trunk
wooden boxes
blue mason jars
old old clothes
chairs
magazines
newspapers
it's been fun sorting through
we are going to have a yard sale in 2 weeks
stop by!
gotta clean out to make room
for all these treasures

{Lemonade Stand}

driving through port royal's community yard sale
the girls got the brainy idea
to make their own lemonade stand
marina wanted me to build one - lol
so here's what we came up with...
all with vintage finds
and real lemons!

ok so i've had the fabric
and i bought a book
and i actually used the sewing machine
for - get this - sewing!!!

and cut the pocket for a leftie

wisteria windows...

now the wisteria just needs to grow

surfing

geesh
since easter
marina has been ready to surf
well the beach wasn't the best
but we were able to purchase
boogie boards of their choice
we ventured off to "surf"
sunday afternoon
the water was cold
and wind was cold
but the girls had fun
that's all that matters!

wedding

got to sandwich, ma friday evening
ordered out again
kids swam
and we hung out
saturday
we got up and did a little tour of the town
went to the beach
hit the hoxie house
and grist mill
really cool
stuff
the wedding was fantastic
the weather could not have been better
the kids were able to relax in the sand
while katrina and geoffrey said their i do's

layover

middletown was about 1/2 way
we ordered out
and the kids swam
i was beat
had to make a stop at the dr's before
leaving mifflintown
blech

travel crazies

atlanta, baltimore, gettysburg, middletown, sandwich and back again...
where to start...
well atlanta was hot
my luggage was over-weight
thanks to the
freebies
necc
was huge
and fantastic
the food was good
and the flight was fine
while i was away the girls had to play!
starting with gettysburg sunday
then off to baltimore with mom and marilyn monday
they road the train into the city
and went to the aqurium
shopped
and had a blast
wednesday (after a flight delay)
i arrived home
only to pack
and ship off to middletown, ny
